Job Role

The Associate Director/Senior Property Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the Office & Industrial management team's overall performance. Working closely with senior team members, they will oversee Assistant Property Managers and Property Managers to maximise service offerings and reduce risk while managing a small portfolio of assets.

This role is critical in strategic planning and co-ordination for direct reports as well as assisting with the Queensland portfolio.

A snapshot of the role:

* Lead and manage a team of property professionals, providing leadership to develop their strengths, skills, and knowledge.
* Develop the team through performance assessments and training, managing staff workload through resourcing assessment and developing succession plans for key team members.
* Evaluate client asset plan revenue and profit targets through proactive budget management.
* Demonstrate exceptional quality service to clients, assessed and measured by client feedback.
* Ensure public liability, fire and life safety, essential services, non-essential services, staff, office, and contractors do not pose major risks.
* Assist in leading the team to develop effective and accurate asset plans, budgets, and financial reports.
* Contribute to business development of future managements across the office and industrial portfolio.


Requirements

This role requires a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience in property/asset management, particularly with prime grade office buildings and proven success in lease negotiations.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills to manage and develop the property team, combined with excellent communication abilities to represent clients and stakeholders.

They should have comprehensive knowledge of the office sector, strong financial acumen, and experience managing profit centres while preparing detailed asset plans and budgets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded professional who can identify value-add opportunities, develop strategic leasing plans, and drive capital works initiatives.
