Porter Avenue Pies & Cakes is a beloved local bakery known for its handcrafted pies, cakes, and pastries. We're seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our busy, full-time team in Highton. What You'll Be Doing
* Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, pies, and sweet goods to high standards
* Mix, knead, shape, and fill doughs with precision and care
* Decorate cakes and pastries with flair and consistency
* Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
* Work collaboratively with a tight-knit team to meet daily production targets
What We're Looking For
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Baking (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum 2–3 years in a pastry or bakery role
* Strong work ethic and attention to detail
* Ability to work early mornings and weekends
* A genuine passion for pastry and pride in your craft
