Responsibilities:
* Clinical Care & Health Promotion (Well-Baby Checks, Immunization's, Antenatal & Postnatal Support, Chronic Condition Management)
* Culturally Safe Practice
* Coordination & Advocacy (Referral Pathways, 715 Health Checks, Documentation)
Essential Criteria:
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN)
* Demonstrated experience in paediatric nursing, midwifery, or child and family health
* Proven ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
* Current Nurse Immuniser certification (or willingness to obtain)
* Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check
Desirable, but not mandatory:
* Experience working in a rural or remote Aboriginal Medical Service.
* Knowledge of the \"Closing the Gap\" initiatives and their impact on child health outcomes.
* Postgraduate diploma in Child and Family health
* Qualifications in Midwifery or Lactation Consultation
