We are currently seeking a qualified HV Electrician to join our South Australian team. You'll work on large-scale projects supporting our Defence and Infrastructure clients, performing installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems up to 6.6 kV
* Isolation, switching, and fault-finding of HV equipment
* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
* Ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, site procedures and HSE requirements
* Collaborating with engineering and fabrication teams to achieve safe, efficient outcomes
Qualifications and Experience:
* Current Australian Electrical Licence
* HV Switching and Authorisation (minimum 6.6 kV)
* Demonstrated experience in industrial, marine, or Defence environments
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical safety systems
* Current CPR/LVR and White Card
Applicants must hold qualifications and experience to work on High Voltage systems up to a minimum of 6.6 kV.
