About Court Logistics Role
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe and secure transportation of young offenders between centres and to courts across New South Wales.
Court Logistics Youth Officers are responsible for managing challenging situations, meeting the needs of young people in custody, and maintaining a safe environment during transportation and court appearances. They also provide support and guidance during these events while modelling pro-social values.
Key Responsibilities
* Transportation of young offenders in secure transport vehicles between centres and to courts
* Ensuring the needs of young people in custody are met
* Managing challenging situations and maintaining a safe environment
* Providing support and guidance during court appearances and modellng pro-social values
Essential Requirements:
* Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's Licence
* Meet citizenship or residency requirements
* National Background Police Check
* Medical and Fitness Assessment
* NSW Working with Children Check Clearance
* 'Provide First Aid Certificate' (HLTAID011)
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
