**Position**: Quality Assurance Manager

**Responsible for**: Workshop machinists (x5), apprentices (x4)
**Salary and benefits**:
- $47-$51 per hour (dependent on experience);
- 11% Superannuation; and

**Summary of Role**: The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of machine jobs, from intake to final delivery. Key duties include ensuring that all products meet customer specifications, managing invoicing, and implementing strategies to enhance workshop morale and efficiency. This role involves identifying and addressing issues related to mechanic errors, resource waste, and job production, while also managing data entry, creating a staff reward system, and maintaining workshop cleanliness and organisation. The Quality Assurance Manager will supervise and delegate tasks to workshop staff, ensure proper timesheet management, and work closely with the company director to achieve operational excellence.
**Responsibilities**:
- Overseeing the incoming and outgoing jobs;
- Ensuring the final product is to correct customer specifications before being released to the customer;
- Invoicing of jobs;
- Improving workshop morale using strategies as agreed upon in conjunction with the company director;
- Identifying areas of loss on workshop jobs, and implementing strategies to reduce re-work errors;
- Identifying waste of workshop resources and implementing waste-reduction strategies;
- Data entry into workshop job tracking system;
- Overseeing general running of the workshop, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance are implemented;
- Delegation of tasks to workshop staff as required;
- Staff supervision; and
- Timesheet entry.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
