Senior Account Executive – ANZ (Sydney, Australia)
Supermetrics – a leading marketing intelligence platform, is hiring a Senior Account Executive to lead our expansion in the Australian market.
The role focuses on mid-market accounts to drive new business and nurture existing customers.
About the Role
Own strategic book-of-business activities and execution.
Develop net-new outbound business and close complex deals.
Consultative deal execution with decision-makers across marketing, data engineering, and operations.
Leverage partner ecosystem, including Google, to source and close net-new logos.
Mentor and coach Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to maintain a qualified pipeline.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Execute a comprehensive sales plan to over-achieve revenue targets across assigned ANZ mid-market accounts.
Lead outreach, demo delivery, negotiation, and closing of complex marketing business challenges using the full Supermetrics suite (ETL, API, Data Warehousing, Marketing Intelligence Platform).
Partner with solutions and technology partners to co-source and accelerate market presence.
Serve as an informal coach for BDRs, ensuring their calendars are filled with qualified opportunities.
Qualifications
5+ years in high-performance, quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record in the Australian market.
Experience closing complex outbound-originated deals across the full sales cycle.
Deep knowledge of MarTech and AdTech SaaS sales, plus an understanding of digital marketing, BI, or data warehousing principles.
Excellent English communication skills for presenting technical value and negotiating with executive stakeholders.
Strong pipeline discipline, meticulous CRM updates, and a commitment to sales excellence.
