About the Role :
We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Team Member to work alongside a Leading Hand across a range of sites, including childcare centers, commercial buildings, and parks.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys outdoor work, takes pride in doing a job properly, and works well as part of a team. You will assist with day-to-day grounds maintenance, ensuring all properties are safe, tidy, and well-presented.
Key Responsibilities :
· Assist with grounds maintenance at childcare centers, commercial buildings, and parks
· Lawn mowing, edging, weed control, and general upkeep
· Pruning, planting, mulching, and basic garden maintenance
· Assist with garden makeovers and light landscaping works
· Safe use and care of tools and equipment
· Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas
· Follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
· Professional behavior around clients and members of the public
Requirements :
· Some experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping
· Willingness to learn and take direction from a Leading Hand
· Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
· Good attitude and strong work ethic
· Physically fit and capable of manual work
· Ability to work well in a team environment
· Current driver’s license
· Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC)
· Ability to obtain a Police Check
