Mechanical Fitter - Sunshine Sugar Broadwater Mill
Sunshine Sugar's Broadwater site has an opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to fill a permanent vacancy.
The site is in the Northern Rivers, 20 minutes to Ballina.
We are an Australian-owned sugar manufacturing company that proudly supports local industry and farming families.
Our range of equipment ensures no two days are ever the same.
We are looking for3n
Trade qualifications (Certificate III and Certificate of Proficiency)
Heavy Industrial/Shutdown experience
Proof of working on a wide range of equipment such as pumps, valves, pipelines, motors, gearboxes, boilers and turbines
Ability to fabricate small and large components
Competent in interpreting drawings
Experience with pressure vessels preferred but not essential
Machine maintenance and troubleshooting experience
Clear and constructive communication verbally and in writing
Organisational skills and prioritisation
Commitment to safety and culture
Teamwork and willingness to share knowledge and expertise
What we can offer you
5 weeks annual leave
25% leave loading (on 4 weeks)
9 day fortnight in off season (January – June)
Overtime available during crushing season (June – December)
RDO a month
