Service Advisor – Kalgoorlie (Full Time or Part Time)
Barty Mechanical Pty Ltd, a proudly local and family-owned business in Kalgoorlie, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing team.
We specialise in servicing and repairing light commercial vehicles and small trucks, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, attention to detail and fast turnaround times.
Our workshop supports a diverse range of commercial clients, including mining operations, road transport and logistics fleets, drilling and exploration companies, trades and service contractors, government and council departments, and emergency response units such as Fire & Rescue. We pride ourselves on being a trusted service partner to the Goldfields community.
From routine servicing and suspension upgrades to diagnostics and complex repairs, we keep essential vehicles and equipment running safely and reliably. We are also the authorised Hino service agent for the region and the exclusive EFS aftermarket suspension distributor in the Goldfields.
Due to continued growth and a major workshop upgrade, we are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team.
This is a permanent residential role, Monday to Friday, with flexibility around hours for the right applicant.
Responsibilities
* Manage customer bookings and job scheduling
* Provide professional customer service (phone, email, face-to-face)
* Communicate job requirements between customers and technicians
* Coordinate parts ordering, pricing and supplier liaison
* Liaise with freight companies and manage deliveries
* Prepare repair orders through to invoice stage
* Support smooth and efficient workshop operations
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in an automotive workshop environment
* Strong communication, organisation and customer service skills
* Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced workshop
* Current manual driver's licence
* Experience with MechanicDesk highly regarded
* Dealership or fleet service advising experience will be highly regarded
