Community Venue Manager Role
This role is an opportunity to lead a dynamic community venue and inspire your team to deliver exceptional member experiences.
As a seasoned leisure venue manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the venue. You will oversee staff leadership, training, program coordination, quality assurance, facilities/asset management, and execute marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business management, operation planning, and implementing innovative ideas. They will possess strong networking and relationship-building skills, establishing valuable partnerships within the local community.
You will be responsible for:
* Managing day-to-day operations, including staff leadership and training.
* Executing business and operational plans to generate income growth and build customer engagement.
* Increasing awareness of the PCYC mission within the local community, growing memberships and generating fundraising/sponsorship opportunities.
* Developing effective relationships with stakeholders, including NSW Police staff, Club Committee, venue users, local businesses, and the wider community.
* Administrative duties, including rostering, forecasting, budget management, weekly and monthly reporting on club performance, funding/grant applications, database/records management.
