Join our team as a Manager and be part of a specialist unit that receives, triages and manages complaints and allegations of misconduct by members of the community. The Integrity Unit has a particular focus on preventing and responding to sexual misconduct.
The Manager will oversee the assessment and triage of complaints received by the Unit. Matters relating to sexual misconduct are retained by the Integrity Unit and the Manager will be responsible for ensuring trauma-informed complaint handling principles are applied.
A key aspect of this role is developing and implementing a University-wide strategy to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct, and other forms of gender-based violence.
To be successful you will need:
* Demonstrated experience in delivering professional and timely complaint management of complex and sensitive matters
* Evidence of well-developed diagnostic, analytical and evaluation skills
* Understanding of regulatory and governance frameworks relevant to the function of the Integrity Unit
* Excellent interpersonal skills including negotiation, influencing skills and key stakeholder engagement
* Proven ability to work with initiative and autonomy, deal with sensitive and confidential matters, and support a one-team culture
This position requires a valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
