Senior Tax Accountant Role
This is a remote position offering an excellent opportunity to utilize your tax expertise and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will manage the company's tax compliance and planning activities in accordance with Australian taxation laws and regulations, providing strategic guidance to support business decisions.
* Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, FBT, payroll tax, and income tax returns, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with ATO regulations and current Australian tax legislation, minimizing risk and optimizing tax outcomes.
* Develop tax provisions and deferred tax calculations for financial reporting, providing stakeholders with accurate and insightful information.
* Offer tax planning and advisory services, enabling businesses to make informed decisions and optimize their tax strategies.
* Maintain effective relationships with the ATO and other regulatory bodies, ensuring seamless communication and compliance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of Australian tax frameworks, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to managing risk and ensuring compliance.
Requirements:
* CPA or near completion (preferable)
* 4+ years of experience within Australian Public Practice
* Strong technical tax knowledge including experience with Company Tax Returns, Trust Tax Returns, Individual Tax Returns, SMSF Tax Returns (preferable), Understanding Div7A, and basic understanding of different structures in Australia
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills
