The Opportunity:
We are looking for a candidate to fill a contract position in an exciting role with a Federal Government client. This role has the opportunity to be extended depending on the performance of the candidate.

The Contract:
The initial contract is to 30 June 2026 with possibility for extension.
Immediate start
Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1
Australian citizenship is required for this position.
Summary of Duties:
1. ICT Strategy and Transition
2. Develop and implement an ICT strategy aligned with agency goals, and oversee the transition of ICT services to the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS), ensuring value for money, service continuity, and a fit-for-purpose solution.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Advice
4. Provide clear, considered technology advice to OOSGG stakeholders and collaborate with agency leaders to understand and meet their technology needs during the transition.
5. Relationship and Contract Management
6. Build strong relationships between OOSGG and DPS, negotiate and manage contracts and agreements, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
7. Operations, Security, and Risk Management
8. Oversee ICT operations, including staff, budgets, and resources; ensure IT system security and reliability; and implement strategies to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information.
