We're working with a fast growing multi-disc planning consultancy who is about to embark on the next iteration of their aggressive growth plan. You could be in the driver seat shaping it as you go
Responsibilities
In this position your key responsibilities will be:
* Business Development: Lead the "win and deliver" strategy, leveraging your network to secure a pipeline of major residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
* Strategic Advisory: Provide expert guidance on complex planning permits, rezoning applications, and Planning Scheme Amendments.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and scale a high-performing team of planners, ensuring technical accuracy and professional growth.
* Client Management: Manage key accounts and build long-term partnerships with top-tier developers and government authorities.
* Management: Work with executive team to build and execute your own growth plan whilst being accountable for P&L
Qualifications
We're wanting to speak to leaders of the industry who possess a personal brand whilst also boasting the following:
* Experience: 12+ years in statutory planning, with a significant portion spent in a reputable Victorian consultancy.
* Network: An established and active network within the Victorian development industry and local/state government.
* Gravitas: A commercial acumen that sets yourself apart
* Education: Tertiary degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline.
* Accreditation: Registered Planner (PIA) or Fellow status is highly regarded.
* Technical Expertise: Deep mastery of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and the Victorian Planning Provisions (VPP).
