Position: Hospital Pharmacy Technician.
Location: Slade Pharmacy, Whyalla Hospital and Health Service, SA.
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time Max Term Contract until September 2026 with possibility of extension.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join Slade Pharmacy's dedicated team at Whyalla Hospital. You'll play a key role in the dispensing and supply of medications for hospital and oncology patients. Working closely with experienced clinical pharmacists and technicians, you'll gain hands‐on experience in a hospital environment focused on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers
* Dispense and supply medications for hospital and oncology patients
* Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management
* Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards
* Complete data entry of patient specific information into database
* Assist with patient account enquiries
* Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees
* Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration
