About the role
As an Education Team Member (Remote) at DeadlyScience Ltd, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) educational programs and workshops to First Nations students and communities across Australia. We have full time positions available in our Deadly Learners team which conducts on-line science sessions with learners in regional and remote communities. This position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact without having to leave your home.
What you'll be doing
* Developing and delivering engaging, culturally-appropriate educational content in an on-line learning space that aligns with curriculum standards
* Facilitating interactive workshops and hands-on activities to inspire a love of learning in students through our zoom platform
* Collaborating with schools to understand their unique needs and tailor educational programs accordingly
* Maintaining strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of educational resources and program delivery
* Providing support and mentorship to less experienced team members
What we're looking for
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences
* Demonstrated creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative educational solutions
* Minimum 2 years experience in an education or training role, preferably within the vocational or community education sector
* Knowledge of curriculum and educational best practices
* Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students and communities
* Willingness to travel at times to Sydney for training and other locations in Australia to deliver programs and for training if required
