Support Worker Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team in the Central West region. This role will involve providing support and care to individuals with complex needs, working across Out of Home Care and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The successful candidate will have a strong interest in youth work, mental health, and the disability industry, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A qualification in Community Services is highly regarded.
This is a part-time permanent position available with immediate start. The role involves working shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays, with significant availability required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of strength-based trauma-informed practice frameworks and the NSW Child Safe Standards. Previous experience in residential therapeutic care and complex trauma is highly regarded.

* Qualification in Community Services (Cert IV)
* Strong interest in youth work, mental health, and the disability industry

* Previous experience in residential therapeutic care and complex trauma (highly regarded)
Essential requirements include the ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement, a paid NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement, and a National Criminal History Check (paid by us). Additionally, the ability to use computers and learn various software/programs is required, as well as a Smart Phone and Current Driver's Licence.
