About the Position
Reporting to the Infrastructure Operations Manager, you will coordinate safe, compliant and efficient waste operations across multiple facilities. Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising Waste Services staff, including training and performance support
* Leading toolbox meetings and supporting staff development
* Coordinating waste operations at Shire facilities
* Ensuring compliance with legislation, Shire policies and DWER licences
* Preparing reports, budgets and operational documentation
* Assisting with delivery of the Capital Works Program
* Developing and reviewing strategies, policies and work practices
* Supporting community education initiatives
* Maintaining accurate records and high customer service standards
* Assisting with operational duties as required
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Previous experience in waste operations
* Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience
* Sound knowledge of compliance, safety and environmental requirements
* Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* A proactive, solutions‑focused approach and ability to work autonomously
