About This Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the environmental aspects of our projects to ensure compliance and sustainability.
We are looking for an individual with excellent leadership skills and experience in managing environmental risks and implementing effective stakeholder collaboration strategies.
1. Compliance Management: Ensure all projects adhere to NT and federal environmental laws and permits
2. Risk Assessment: Regularly conduct site inspections to identify and mitigate environmental risks
3. Sustainability Planning: Develop, implement, and update Environmental & Sustainability Plans to minimize our ecological footprint
4. Land Remediation: Manage land remediation, waste, and environmental impact mitigation efforts
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with government agencies, community groups, contractors, and consultants
Key Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Environmental Science or a related field
* Proven experience in environmental management and sustainability
* Strong leadership and project management skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
