SUEZ is a partnership with SA Water delivering together in the Production and Treatment (P&T) Alliance trusted water services for a sustainable and healthy South Australia. Our Vacancy The Water Maintenance Supervisor will lead the efficient and compliant delivery of maintenance services for metropolitan water M&E assets. You will manage Alliance and contract personnel, ensuring objectives related to cost efficiency, health and safety, quality, and performance are met. The role also includes overseeing an operational workshop, managing the team, budget, and health and safety, while supporting the Water Production Manager and Customer Water Supply Manager in achieving key operational targets.
In this leadership role, you will ensure compliance with agreed timelines, budget, and operational goals. You will develop maintenance strategies for critical assets, conduct safety audits, and optimise performance through data analysis. Managing resources effectively, you'll ensure that the team is adequately trained, motivated, and equipped to meet performance targets. You will oversee the purchasing process, ensuring cost-effective procurement while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.
Additionally, you'll play a key role in managing client relationships, particularly with SA Water, to ensure smooth operations, resolve issues, and support capital works projects. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes, identifying opportunities for cost reductions and operational efficiencies.
About You To excel in this role, you will need:
Relevant trade-related, Engineering, or similar qualification is desirable. Proven leadership skills in an industrial operations environment. Expertise with office software and the ability to use maintenance software (e.g., Maximo, SAP). Ability to read and interpret detailed technical documents and designs. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Current unrestricted driver's licence.
