If you are passionate about delivering a high standard of patient centred care and want to advance your career, we would love to hear from you.**Positions will be offered on a casual basis for all departments and wards.****The Enrolled Nurse Position*** Function within legal and registration constraints in relation to enrolled nursing practice.* Maintain and develops clinical skills to deliver patient care appropriate to level of competence.* Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.* Adhere to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards.* Act as the patient’s advocate and protects the rights of individuals.* Provide patient education and participates in discharge planning, where applicable or as required.* Participate in quality improvement activities.* Demonstrate a courteous manner to internal and external customers.**The Registered Nurse Position*** Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.* Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.* Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.* Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.* Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will hold registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse.
You will demonstrate commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills. To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
