Job Description
We are seeking an experienced professional to coordinate and oversee the development, evaluation and implementation of training functions. This role will involve coordinating and managing projects involving volunteers to ensure the development of professional and effective education products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and be able to identify, develop, and implement strategies to meet the training needs of staff. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to cultivate relationships with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and service providers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong project management skills and experience in coordinating and managing projects involving volunteers.
* A strong background in training and assessment, with qualifications in TAE40122 or equivalent.
* Experience working in maritime search and rescue organisations or be willing to acquire formal search and rescue qualifications within six months of commencement.
* Knowledge and/or qualifications in disaster management and first aid.

The Regional Training Coordinator will provide strategic advice for capability-focused projects and monitor interdependencies across multiple initiatives to achieve the successful delivery of training. They will also travel intra-state as required and have experience working with regional and remote communities, particularly First Nations' communities.
