About the business and the role

K Care Healthcare Solutions is the manufacturing division of Country Care Group. We are one of the largest and most respected manufacturers and suppliers of medical and in-home aids, for people living with disability, mobility impairments and the aged.

We are looking for a people person guru to take on the role of Business Development Manager who will service our South Australia re-sellers and distributors. Our main Distribution Centre is located in Welland and ideally the successful candidate will work from this site as a home base.

The Business Development Manager will deliver excellence in customer service through the provision of sales advice/guidance of mobility and healthcare equipment. They will actively build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the industry to build a brand of choice and achieve sales growth in line with company growth strategy, sales goals and KPIs

A National Police Check is required for this role.

JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities

* Uphold company values of Integrity, Respect, Leadership, Passion and Accountability through all interactions with clients, staff and key stakeholders
* Regularly engage clients using Microsoft Teams, Skype or other online methods
* Regularly travel to meet with re-sellers and distributors within designated region
* Overnight travel occasionally required
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients, occupational therapists and staff at health care facilities to deliver excellence in the supply of products and services
* Actively create business development opportunities that lead to client growth and company sales growth
* Quickly develop product knowledge to offer specialist product advice
* Demonstrate the benefit of available products
* Identify market growth opportunities and initiate business growth strategies to drive sales results
* Build company brands and services by supporting marketing strategies and campaigns
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels to ensure a positive team culture
* Ensure professional communications are maintained at all times with internal and external parties and all customer inquiries are followed up in a timely manner
* Work in collaboration with the HR and marketing team to develop internal training programs for sales team members
* Deliver internal training sessions to sales teams
* Follow work health and safety policies and procedures
* Adhere to company policies and procedures
* Adhere to quality control policies and procedures
* Undertake training and other duties as required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Desired

* Industry experience will be highly regarded

Essential

* Proven track record in sales and relationship management
* Be physically fit as you will be required to regularly move equipment in and out of vehicles to provide product presentations at expos/ in-store and in-store education
* Strong customer service skills with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
* Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
* Intermediate computer skills using MS office suite
* Organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise
* Ability to work well within a team and independently
* Minimum 3 years of experience working in sales
* Unrestricted drivers licence
* Ability to travel regularly
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
* Reliable, trustworthy, flexible and dependable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability quickly develop collaborative relationships
* Willingness to undertake a National Police Check
* Right to Work in Australia
* Knowledge of healthcare and mobility equipment is advantageous
