This is a hands-on leadership position in which you'll take ownership of a diverse aftermarket product portfolio. Leading a large multi-disciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for design, development and deployment of new products to market. The role:Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team, and collaborate with international counterparts. Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle - delivering products on time, on budget, and fit for purpose. Drive innovation with a strong commercial lens. Managing a pipeline of concurrent projects, via a team of Engineering Managers and Team leaders. Driving design quality, standards and continuous improvement - strengthening product development processes and capability. Partnering closely with product, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams. Making key trade-off decisions across cost, performance and timing. Collaborating with international teams to share knowledge and align on best practice. About you:A proven technical engineering expert and people leader. Strong experience in engineering leadership within product-based environments (automotive or similar highly regarded). Track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams. Solid commercial acumen—you understand cost, margin and business impact. Comfortable operating strategically and getting hands‐on into the detail to help develop the team. Excellent communication skills and able to influence and align stakeholders across the business. A leader who builds capability, drives accountability and lifts standards.
