To learn more, visit: www.brams.org.au Your Next Chapter Starts Here BRAMS is looking for a full-time Men’s Health Nurse, based in Broome, WA. Reporting to the Primary Health Care Manager, this role provides both generalist nursing care and dedicated leadership in men’s health services across clinical and community settings. More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Delivering culturally safe nursing care including triage, health checks, chronic disease support, and aged care services Conducting targeted men’s health assessments covering chronic illness, sexual health, cancer screening, and mental health Leading the development of men-only clinics, outreach programs, and health education initiatives Engaging with men’s groups, schools, and organisations to build trust and increase access Promoting preventative care and early intervention, including STI testing, lifestyle advice, and cancer screening Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated, high-quality care Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting clinical governance Acting as a key point of contact for men’s health concerns and referrals To read the full position description, please click here What You Bring - Skills That Make a Difference To qualify, you will need to be a Registered Nurse with experience in primary and community health care, ideally in Aboriginal or remote contexts. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a community or culturally responsive healthcare setting will be essential. The following qualifications, skills, and experience will be highly regarded: Experience in men’s health, cancer care, sexual health, or mental health Previous work within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation Ability to work independently and flexibly across clinical and outreach settings Demonstrated cultural safety and community engagement experience You will be someone who: Builds strong rapport and trust, especially with Aboriginal men and community groups Shows initiative and passion for improving men’s health outcomes Is reliable, organised, and comfortable managing varied clinical and community responsibilities This is a meaningful role for a nurse who wants to blend clinical excellence with culturally led engagement in a unique and rewarding environment.
