Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and hands-on
Early Childhood Teacher
to join our vibrant Glenwood service.
In this dual role, you will guide educational practice, deliver high-quality programs, and support children's individual learning and development through engaging, play-based experiences that foster growth and curiosity.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire educators, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a high-performing culture on the floor.
* Mentor, support, and model best-practice early childhood education as the Educational Leader.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgets, resources, and compliance, ensuring smooth centre management.
* Develop and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs that support children's growth and development.
* Prioritise health, safety, and wellbeing, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for every child.
* Build strong relationships with families and the community, promoting involvement and the centre's values.
Qualifications And Skills
* Early Childhood Teacher (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
* At least 6 months' experience as an Educational Leader or in an early childhood leadership role
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
* Child Protection training/certificate
* Experience or strong interest in leadership and management pathways
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
