Due to extensive growth our client is pursuing dedicated team members with experience in installing and maintaining radio and telecommunications equipment on various hardware. They are an industry leading company looking to fill a position within their team in Sydney.
**About the role**:
You will be required to install, maintain, program, and provide technical support for a variety of communications equipment and infrastructure. The successful applicant will have an ability to be self-managed, resourceful, and persistent. As well as have drive, determination, and a logical approach to ensure servicing is conducted in an efficient and safe manner.
Duties include:
- Service work and maintenance utilising various radio technologies such as analogue, DMR, TETRA and P25 infrastructure and subscribers
- Execute all service and maintenance works for radio networks, CCTV, PAGA, telephony and IP networks
- Client liaison and high level customer service resulting in long term relationships and follow on work
- Experience with above mentioned duties
- Certificate III or higher in electronics engineering, RF engineering or related fields of study
- Previous industry experience preferably in both workshop and field maintenance roles
- Strong technical knowledge of the following radio and telecommunications equipment: P25, TETRA, and DMR radio equipment, Radio Spectrum, Network based radio systems
- Wireless, IP networking, PAGA, telephony and microwave experience is highly desirable
