An opportunity has opened for an experienced Nurse Educator to lead clinical education and professional development at a well-regarded residential aged care facility in Bunyip, in Melbourne's south-east.
This is a role for a clinician who takes pride in lifting the people around them. You will design and deliver evidence-based training, mentor nursing staff across all experience levels, and help the team confidently embed the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards into everyday practice under the Aged Care Act 2024.
With just two days a week on a 12-month fixed-term basis, this position suits a senior RN who wants meaningful, high-impact work alongside genuine work–life balance.
What you will be doing
* Designing, delivering and evaluating clinical education programs aligned to best practice
* Supporting clinical governance, audits and continuous improvement
* Coaching and mentoring nurses and care staff on the floor and in the classroom
* Ensuring training maps to the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
* Partnering with the leadership team to identify learning needs and close capability gaps
What you'll bring
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Demonstrated experience in clinical education, ideally in residential aged care
* TAE40122 or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
* Current National Police Certificate or Aged Care Worker Screening clearance
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* A warm, credible presence and a genuine passion for older people's care
