About The Role
As a Storeroom Assistant, you'll work back of house in a retail storeroom ensuring stock integrity, as well as maintaining an efficient flow of merchandise from the storeroom to the sales floor. We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting the team and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.
Responsibilities
* Unpack, label, and organize merchandise efficiently.
* Receive and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of items and quantities.
* Utilize machinery such as pallet jack, walkie stacker, trolley, and WAVe.
* Record inbound and outbound stock movement using the Inwards/Outwards Goods Register.
* Provide friendly customer service and support customers with pickups of purchased items.
* Maintain store floor and stockroom standards.
Qualifications
* 2–3 years of retail storeroom experience (preferred but not essential).
* Previous customer service experience.
* Ability to operate machinery such as pallet jack, walkie stacker, WAVe, and trolley (training provided).
* Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative.
* Proficiency in using inventory management software and point‐of‐sale systems.
* Physical ability to lift up to 15 kg between floor and shoulder, 10 kg above shoulder height on own, and 45 kg with assistance; ability to wear headset to communicate with team on shop floor.
