We invite you to join our Technology team as an Executive Support Officer – Technology. This permanent role requires the ability to work from or travel to Port Kembla (preferred) and/or Mascot.


What Will You Do?

The Executive Support Officer provides high-level executive and operational support to the GM Digital & IT. Responsibilities include supporting the GM and Technology Leadership Team through coordination, office management, and meeting logistics for technology governance groups. The role ensures strategic priorities are executed efficiently and promotes strong coordination across the Technology Leadership Team, including:

1. Managing and maintaining the calendar for the Technology function, ensuring all events and meetings are scheduled and executed efficiently.
2. Overseeing the daily workflow of the GM Digital & IT, managing diary, travel, and communications to ensure smooth operations.
3. Preparing briefing materials, presentations, and reports for meetings and stakeholder engagements.
4. Providing operational support to the Technology Leadership Team, including tracking deadlines and maintaining records.
5. Coordinating with internal departments and external vendors on behalf of the GM Digital & IT.
6. Partnering with the GM to improve processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.


About You

You are a proactive, dynamic professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and supports leaders to excel. Your experience in executive support and affinity for technology set you apart. We seek a team player with:

* Extensive experience supporting senior executives, ideally CIOs, CTOs, or technology leaders.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail and effective time management.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, and manage priorities.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
