An exciting opportunity exists within our Sales & Events team for a talented and seasoned Event Manager. Reporting directly to the Head of Events & Sales QLD, the Event Manager will participate in the event coordination for The Fresh Collective across multiple venues including Waters Edge Weddings & Events, QLD Museum & Riverlife, and to assist at times in an offsite capacity.
You will build excellent relationships with clients, while working in partnership with other departments to deliver exceptional event experiences and budgeted revenues.
**About you**
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role with a luxury hotel, hospitality group or catering company
- Great relationship building skills
- A dynamic and passionate attitude towards food & beverage
- Exceptional time management & communication skills
- Sound organisational and computer skills - Priava experience is desirable
- High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task/manage multiple events
- Ability to make calculated decisions, in line with company policies & procedures
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Outgoing personality with strong sales and negotiation skills
- Enjoy adapting to a fast paced, project focused environment
- Pro-active and innovative approach to potential clients
- Tertiary qualifications are desirable
