**What's the role?**
We are seeking a News Reporter to join our highly-regarded editorial team at Kidspot and help grow audiences. The full-time role is based at our office in Surry Hills and would be Monday - Friday, starting early to focus on morning news and parenting/lifestyle content.
- Produce articles based on news of the day, with a focus on parenting content
- Trawl social media channels daily for strong exclusives, news features, viral posts and trending content
- Work in collaboration with the Editor, News Editor, video and social teams to plan and write stories in a fast-paced news environment
- Post directly to Kidspot's various social channels
- Deliver headlines and sells that make Kidspot readers want to know more
**Who are you?**
- Strong news writing skills
- Experience in a digital news environment
- Interest in world and international news, as well as lifestyle content
- Ability to write breaking news
- Understanding of SEO
- Collaborative working approach.
