**Skills and Experiences**:
Brand in Hand Strategy
- Assist in developing and reviewing the local state "brand in hand" marketing strategy for GDA in close alignment with GDA marketing team.
- Manage current sponsorship relationships and leverage maximum brand exposure & volume
- Assess incoming sponsorship proposals against state and/or GDA "brand in hand" strategy
- Manage sponsorship spend to budget, tracking and maximising ROI.
Brand Activation & Event Management
- Develop, execute, and manage brand experiences at key industry events, festivals, tastings, and pop-up activations.
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless integration of brand messaging at live events.
- Identify new opportunities for brand activation, collaborating with influencers, and brand ambassadors.
Consumer Engagement
- Design and implement programs that engage consumers, building long-term relationships with the brand.
- Create memorable, immersive brand experiences that foster brand loyalty and deepen consumer connections.
On Premise & Trade Show Management & execution
- Management & execution of trade show & On Premise events in collaboration with the sales team
Creative Campaign Development
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop campaign concepts, promotional materials, and experiential marketing strategies.
- Ensure consistency of the brand's messaging and positioning across all consumer touchpoints (in-store, online, events, etc.).
- Monitor market trends and consumer behaviour to inform future experiential initiatives.
Market Research & Insights
- Analyse consumer feedback, event data, and market trends to continuously improve brand experiences.
- Gather insights from events and campaigns to refine strategies and align with consumer preferences.
- Report on campaign effectiveness and consumer engagement metrics to senior leadership.
Brand Ambassadorship
- Serve as a key representative of the brand at events, ensuring that the brand's personality and values are communicated consistently.
- Train and guide ambassadors, staff, and other stakeholders on brand positioning and consumer engagement techniques.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Support
- Collaborate with sales, digital marketing, PR, and product teams to ensure a cohesive approach to brand initiatives.
- Support product launches and seasonal campaigns, aligning experiential activities with broader marketing objectives.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
Experience
- 4 years of experience in brand marketing or experiential marketing, ideally in the liquor, beverage, or CPG (consumer packaged goods) industries.
- Proven track record of managing successful brand activations and consumer events.
- Experience with event planning, budget management, and vendor coordination.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of the liquor industry, including trends, consumer behaviour, and regulatory constraints.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with social media and digital marketing platforms.
- Willingness to travel for events and activations.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary for events.
