THE ROLE
We're on the lookout for a driven and relationship-focused Territory Manager to join our passionate sales team. In this role, you'll be the face of Steel Blue across the Sydney Metro and Greater Sydney region, working closely with distributors and end-users to grow our brand, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You'll manage your own territory, champion wear trials, and build strong, lasting relationships — all while proudly representing a brand that's trusted around the world.
The ideal candidate will be based in Sydney, with flexibility to live anywhere within the Sydney basin.
You'll be responsible for:
* Taking ownership of your territory to meet sales goals and drive growth
* Driving end-user engagement through wear trials and capturing customer insights
* Effectively utilising CRM to manage contact details, leads, sales opportunities, and relationship information
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and key accounts
* Representing Steel Blue at trade shows, field days, and industry events to showcase our products and connect with customers
* Leveraging platforms like LinkedIn to promote Steel Blue's presence
* Supporting promotional campaigns, point-of-sale strategies, and industry networking initiatives
* Completing monthly reports for the State Sales Manager to track progress and opportunities
ABOUT YOU
To succeed in this role, you'll be someone who's self-motivated, thrives on building strong relationships, and brings energy, initiative, and a positive attitude wherever you go.
We're looking for someone who has:
* Proven experience in a similar sales role, preferably in the trade or manufacturing industry (experience in the wholesale and / or footwear industries will be highly regarded)
* Current NSW drivers licence
* A strong track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer relationships
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
* The ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and stay organised on the road
* Confident use of CRM systems (Hubspot or similar), with solid admin and reporting skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for helping customers
* A flexible, can-do attitude and a commitment toteam success and living our values
