We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team at our Dry Creek, Adelaide facilities on a part time basis working 20-30 hours per week.
The position offers negotiable working hours to accommodate the right candidate's availability.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, where your skills will contribute to meaningful business outcomes.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with previous accounting experience in a manufacturing setting being highly regarded. Progress towards, or completion of, a CA/CPA qualification will be viewed favourably.
A minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience is required for this position.
This position provides exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, including:
* Weekly reporting and analysis of sales, gross margins, and net profit
* Month-end profit and loss reporting, including detailed analysis and commentary
* Preparation of month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations
* Intercompany recharges
* BAS preparation
* Assisting with system maintenance of inventory items
* Assisting FBT return preparation
* Responding to various ad-hoc queries
