The Children, Youth and Families Division of Health and Community Services Directorate (HCSD) has a temporary vacancy for an experience Information Access Officer to join the team. The Information Access Officer will undertake a range of supporting activities to manage requests for information, in particular made pursuant to Chapter 25 of the Children and Young People Act 2008 (‘CYPAct’). Duties can include the retrieval, filing and preparation of documents to facilitate the handling of information requests and litigation. Experience in the preparation of court documents and knowledge of the court and tribunal system and relevant procedures is desirable. Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 may be required.
