Haymes Paint Shop Albion Park Rail is hiring! We are looking for energetic, motivated people with an eye for detail
In this role, your main responsibility will be to provide advice and general sales assistance to retail and trade customers in-store, over the phone and on-site. You will also promote the stores products and services to customers.
Some of your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
* Greeting customers and assisting with product selection
* Tinting paint products to customer requirements
* Building strong relationships with trade customers in store
* Assisting with the preparation and running of trade events, and related activities in order to provide a value-added service for customers.
* Supporting the network partner and store manager with implementing actions to achieve budgeted sales and profits.
* Adhering to all safe work procedures.
* Delivering trade orders on site as required.
* Completing all transactions accurately (To be successful in this role, it is key that you are able to demonstrate retail sales skills, also relevant trade skills and/or paint knowledge will be highly regarded. You will need to have a positive attitude, the ability to assimilate new information in a timely manner and be able to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
* Most importantly, you will love working with people and engaging with customers, have a good sense of humour, and an easy-going nature.
* You will need an unencumbered driver's licence, availability to work across a Monday to Saturday roster, and have the ability to perform manual tasks associated with this role e.g. lifting of 15 litre cans of paint, repetitive tasks associated with tinting house lots of paint etc.
