North Western Drainage and Civil – Broome WA. North Western Drainage and Civil is based in Broome, Western Australia with projects spread throughout the Kimberley and Pilbara.
We are seeking a motivated Excavator Operator for an upcoming Water Corp project, who is looking for new challenges and potential growth opportunities to extend their career within the civil industry.
Key Requirements
* Current and valid C Class Manual Driver's License
* Construction Induction (White) Card
* Excavator Operator Ticket
* Current and Valid HR Driver's License (Desirable)
* Must have precision operating experience of 1.5T to 25T excavators
* Minimum 2 years' experience in civil construction industry
* Strong focus on Quality, Safety, and Environmental procedures
* Ability to work around existing ground services
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
* Cooperate in Prestart and safety meetings
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
Key Responsibilities
* Operate plant as directed with due care and responsibility
* Operate plant safely and efficiently
* Complete pre-starts and communicate any issues
* Maintain close communication with team and management
* Be a team player and cooperate with others on site to improve efficiency
* Take instruction and action as directed by the Leading Hand and/or Site Manager
* Opportunities for training and ongoing career development for the right candidate
* Casual contract with opportunity for full-time employment min. 60 hours per week
* 3 weeks on 1 week off work roster
* Fortnightly pay cycle
* Supportive and collaborative management team
* Further training will be provided as necessary
