About the Opportunity

We're looking for a proactive and detail‐oriented Administrative Assistant to support the smooth operation of our property. In this role, you'll assist with both administrative and accounting functions, ensuring our teams are supported and our guests receive exceptional experience.

In this role, you'll play a key part in the day‐to‐day running of our operations. You will process accounts receivable and payable, provide high‐quality administrative support across departments, assist team members with queries and support the front office team when required. Your strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities will see you thrive in this role. Reporting to the Senior Administration Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

* Perform daily general administration tasks including answering phone calls, mail and correspondence
* Process accounts receivable and payable
* Balance, record and bank daily takings
* Assist with HR administration including uniforms, ID & name badges, inductions, training bookings and record keeping
* Assist with stocktake duties and support the front office team when required
* Provide admin support to other departments
What you'll need to be successful
* Experience in administration, accounts receivable/payable or bookkeeping
* Knowledge of administrative procedures and an understanding of accounts receivable/payable
* Proficient in MS Office applications including, word, excel & outlook, PMS Opera desirable
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with others quickly
* Strong numeracy and literacy, with great attention to detail
* Ability to problem‐solve, manage competing priorities and work proactively
* Excellent personal presentation
