Outline Duties / Knowledge Seeking a Head Chef to work on a casual contract till the end of December 2025, working 40 hours Monday till Friday. Responsible for leading approx. 30 staff across 3x bases in Adelaide (Need to have a presence across all sites to support the teams). Ensuring compliance to a set national menu, food health, safety and hygiene, stock take, ordering, liaising with suppliers, delegating tasks, and managing staff. Majority fresh cook, with a small component of chill and reheat. Skills and Attributes Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (Australian recognised) 3 years’ experience in kitchen management, leadership, and food safety across large scale food service i.e.) Defence / Mining / Hospitals / Universities (minimum 600 meals per day) Strong communication skills Australian Citizen Australian Driver’s license and vehicle Able to pass a pre-employment medical Hold or be able to obtain Baseline Defence Clearance Deal with experienced professionals, AustCorp’s FM lead recruiters have over 85 years industry experience!
