Venue Manager
The Venue Manager is pivotal in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency, while also driving revenue growth and managing a dedicated team. The Venue Manager will play a key role in enhancing the venue's reputation and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of the venue, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting
* Ensure all staff have necessary qualifications such as RSA, RCG and AMLCTF training
* Coordinate with event planners and vendors to ensure successful events
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
* Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Ensure that the venue is clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times
* Manage and train staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Qualifications
* 3-5 years of experience in venue management or a related field
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Knowledge of event planning and management
* Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
