About the role
We require a team player to work on a Full-Timebasis performing servicing/ maintenance work on window furnishing products. Some installation work may be required from time to time. Your people skills are essential as you are a key part of the interaction between Kresta Blinds and our valued customers. Experience in either window furnishing fitting or building/handyman, or carpentry is preferred, but we can train the right person.
Duties
- Performing servicing, check measurements and maintenance work on window furnishing products
- Identify technical faults and resolve installation issues
- Fit window furnishings (blinds, curtains, shutters, awnings) in customers homes (occasionally)
- Liaise with the Centralised service team who will coordinate your appointments
You will have
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to use a variety of software programs
- Previous window furnishing fitting experience preferred but not essential
- Proven handyman skills, proficient with hand tools and measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in work
- An understanding of safe work practices
