Service-Based Electrical Technician - Maintenance & Compliance Perth, WA
We are seeking reliable and experienced Service-Based Electrical Technicians to support ongoing maintenance and compliance activities across commercial and industrial client sites (Retail Clients – Servcore/Westpac/Stockland). The role includes scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks, with a focus on statutory compliance such as RCD testing and Emergency Lighting inspections. Occasional nightshift work may be required to accommodate client access and operational constraints.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled maintenance and compliance testing, including RCD testing and Emergency Lighting inspections.
* Complete fault finding, minor repairs, and component replacements as required.
* Accurately document test results and issue compliance reports in line with regulatory standards.
* Liaise with clients and site representatives to coordinate access and minimise disruption.
* Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and WHS regulations.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and test instruments in good working order.
* Participate in after‑hours or nightshift works as scheduled.
* Support Minor Works projects as scheduled.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* WA Electrical Worker's Licence (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2 years' experience in service‑based electrical maintenance.
* White Card (Construction Induction).
* Current CPR & LVR certification.
* Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 2293 (Emergency Lighting), and AS/NZS 3760 (RCD Testing).
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
* Experience with digital compliance reporting platforms (e.g., simPRO, or similar).
* Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications.
* Familiarity with healthcare, retail, defence or commercial environments.
* HV Experience/Licensing or Certification.
Duration & Schedule
* Immediate start.
* Ongoing contract with potential for extension.
* Standard hours with occasional nightshift and weekend work as required.
