The Role of a Maintenance Fitter
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing maintenance tasks, ensuring quality expectations are met and standards are confirmed.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery, ensuring tasks are completed according to system requirements and documented accurately.
* Identify and isolate defective or unsafe equipment, consulting with stakeholders to maintain a safe working environment.
* Support maintenance operations by conducting risk assessments, disposing of waste materials appropriately, and maintaining accurate records.
* Uphold safety standards by complying with protocols, participating in hazard assessments, and maintaining 5S cleanliness and organisation.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process issues, analysing data, and participating in problem-solving initiatives.
* Make daily decisions on production priorities and improvement opportunities within a collaborative team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter with strong time management, attention to detail, and process adherence.
* Effective communicator with active listening skills and collaborative mindset.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with previous MEX experience (highly regarded), and understanding of PLC systems.
* Customer-focused, delivering quality outcomes and considering customer impact.
* Problem solver with rigorous logic, contributing to continuous improvement.
* Reliable team player with a safety mindset and commitment to company success.
