We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Storeperson to join our close-knit friendly team based locally in Acacia Ridge QLD. You will support our business operations and ensure we deliver on our Customer First philosophy - we are easy to do business with.
No two days will be the same in this diverse role which will see you working in manufacturing and production, as well as receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of customer orders.
We have a learning and development program for the right candidate so you will be set up to succeed from the beginning!
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Receiving, checking and storing of incoming goods
* Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
* Forklift operations to assist with dispatch and receiving of goods
* Use of computer systems for data entry and use of Freight Management system
* Operating hydraulic press, chain cutter and other testing equipment
* Assembly and inspection of lifting gear
* Manufacturing, testing of chain and wire rope slings
To be successful, you will bring:
* Previous experience in manufacturing / stores / warehousing environment
* Knowledge in the Lifting, Rigging or Safety Industry preferred but not essential
* Experience in manufacturing and testing highly regarded
* Forklift licence with recent experience required
* Dedication, reliability, commitment, and a strong work ethic
