**Supply Chain Manager**

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Australia's most respected and awarded private companies, servicing commercial and infrastructure projects for the provision of patented electrical products. Our client specialises in the wholesaler and distribution of technical product, whilst providing local and reliable technical support to the customer, a service that sets them apart from their competitors.
**About the role**
Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for;
- Oversee the Purchasing function
- Manage and support a small team of professionals including the Senior Purchasing Officer, Planning and Logistics Lead and Operations admin staff
- Manage inventory supply and forecasting
- Establish relationships with global forwarders and suppliers to ensure smooth product supply
- With the support of the Planning and Logistics Lead you will oversee the warehouse operations
- Manage the scheduling and ISO compliance
- Manage timely processing of orders and customs administration
- Build rapport with global forwarding agents
- Develop reporting to support and improve the supply chain function
- Work closely with the CFO, the National Sales Manager and the Executive team on ad-hoc projects
**About you**
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management
- Demonstrated experience as a Manager in a similar role
- Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
- Management of Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, Scheduling and ISO Compliance
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong sourcing skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Advanced computer skills including strong use of analytical and reporting tools
- Experience dealing with domestic and international suppliers
- Experience with Foreign Currency and Hedging
