Overview of a Generalist HR Role
Job Description
This is a part-time on-site role with an organisation. The incumbent reports to senior management and works with the leadership team to contribute to the firm's ongoing success through effective HR practice across all levels and departments.
The organisation delivers comprehensive business, taxation, superannuation, and financial advice and builds successful partnerships with people and businesses, supporting ongoing growth and well-being.
This is a part-time opportunity (.8 FTE across 4 or 5 days).
* Deliver high-quality day-to-day HR advice and support to management on workplace and employee relations processes across the organisation.
* Maintain, develop, document, and oversee all HR requirements to ensure compliance for the organisation.
* Handle talent attraction, retention, and development including end-to-end recruitment, contracts, and onboarding.
* Elevate performance, culture, engagement, and purpose through charted career paths and professional development across the organisation.
* Continuously improve and audit HR policies, systems, and procedures, including interpreting and implementing legislation and Award changes.
* Manage a small administration team.
Requirements
* Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a relevant field are required.
* A proven track record in a similar generalist HR management role (7–10 years plus) is necessary.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to negotiate and influence are essential.
* Industrial relations and health, safety & wellbeing knowledge and expertise are also required.
* Ability to support and manage a continuous improvement model for achieving outcomes is key.
