Job Title: Financial Services Officer
This role is responsible for processing payments to providers and self-managed participants, investigating and resolving outstanding payment requests, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process manual payments to providers and self-managed participants;
* Investigate and resolve outstanding payment requests that have been rejected through the provider and participant portals;
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment enquiries;
* Work to resolve payment issues, guided by legislation, policies and standards, and Payments Branch Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Attention to detail;
* Resilience and adaptability;
* The ability to work with minimal supervision in a team-based role;
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
* Preferred experience working in customer service and/or Payments Support;
* An empathetic nature and ability to work with vulnerable people.
