Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you will work with external contractors to ensure the completion of assigned packages including layout design, basic and detail design, engineering management, and engineering analysis.
You will possess
* An ability to establish, deploy and manage engineering and design processes
* Proven ability to engineer and deliver engineering packages through engineering management
* Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating objective and critical thinking
* Advanced computer literacy and engineering software skills relevant to the discipline e.g. Inventor, AutoCAD, Space Gass, Sidewinder, Ansys, Powercad, etc
* Strong engagement and leadership skills
* Skilled at communicating, achieving consensus and building alignment cooperatively
* Project and plant risk identification and management skills, with a particular focus on achieving a Zero Harm project outcome
Required skills
* >5 years of experience managing the engineering aspects of capital projects
* Experience as a senior engineer, team leader or similar
* Experience in the development & delivery of large brownfield projects or large infrastructure projects.
* Writing and preparing engineering technical specifications and technical documents
* Tendering, negotiating and administration of contracts
* Proven ability/knowledge in HAZOP/CHAZOP or equivalent design process experience
